Why would Jesus have to ask God in the Lord's Prayer, to not lead us into Temptation, but deliver us from evil..?
by Tater-T in..... and then willingly be lead into temptation .
he knows that's how a good god operates, so the first thing he does when installed as heavenly ruler... .
he casts the ultimate tempter to the vicinity of the earth... so he can do it as much as possible.... has anyone ever noticed this flaw in the almighty ... he has to be told to do what is good , then doesn't do it ... man what a tool.. i guess he really does love us... lol.

Your observation walks hand-in-hand with James 4:17 that tells us "if one knows how to do what is right but does not do it, it is a sin for him". Oh My Goodness.....God is a sinner..... I guess if his 'ways are higher than ' our ways we can extrapolate that to mean there is no practical love in the universe.
Again OMG....this is starting to sound like over-lapping generation logic (or lack there of).

Be honest. Tell them: "I no longer believe what is taught there....I believe.....) "----fill in the blank with what you believe. Do NOT belittle anyone else who does believe just tell the child what you feel in terms the child will be able to understand. Honesty is the best policy. -

We have raised and released many baby and injured birds....whenever you're going to touch or hold a bird and then release it into the wild, find leaves from any green plant and crush them in your hands as if washing with soap, before you handle the bird. You need to mask the scent of humans as the release-ee may be rejected by his flock or mate if the human smell persists.
Also remember they are not mammals, so never feed them anything milk based. Usually vegetable or fruit baby food is OK, sometimes oatmeal will do too. Wet food, but no water....they can mis-swallow and drown quite easily. They will learn to drink as young feathered birds generally speaking.

I find it strange that Jesus Christ....God's Son, the 2nd perfect man ever to appear on Earth.... was so inarticulate that he needs someone to explain what he meant to say 2,000 years ago.
Geeeezus kryste!!

Are Elders experts on the Bible? Are they spirtually qualified men?
by John Aquila inhow many times have elders read their bible in its entirety?
these are the leaders that give counsel to married couples, to teenagers, to single girls and single boys on everything from marriage, education, sex, association, dress, and recreation..
how well do they know their bible?
-
ron rawson
Absolutely, unequivocally "NO"....the may be qualified as janitors, window washers, maybe even as high as tradesman.....but in spiritual matters....hahaha, been there, been that, and I speak from experience: NO! -

I figured it out in my 50's tho I had serious doubts and questions from my early 20's. Both my parents had doubts before they died....but they both said 'it is still the truth'.....my Dad blew raspberries when I asked him what he thought about 1914 (this was well before the over-lapping generation excuse). My Mom called not celebrating birthdays and holidays ' a load of crap'....so they knew, but for whatever their reasons, they hung on.
I've been a fader, and have faded so deep that I'm nearly invisible. Haven't managed much of a social life rebuild, but still happy to not be wading chin deep in bull manure.
